Current: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament for the Pomio Open Electorate seat as a Peoples National Congress Party Candidate in the 2017 General Elections. Appointed Minister for Health and HIV/AIDS in the Marape-Steven Government and sworn in on 07/06/19 by the Governor General Sir Bob Dadae, 2nd Term in this Parliament.
Past: First elected to the 9th National Parliament in a by Election in May 2015 for the Pomio Open seat following the dismissal of then member, Mr. Paul Tiensten. Chairman of Special Parliamentary Committee on Public Sector Reforms & Service Delivery in the first term/9th Parliament from October 2015 to July 2017. Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament for the Pomio Open Electorate seat as a Peoples National Congress Party Candidate in the 2017 General Elections. Appointed Minister for Public Service in the O'Neill-Abel Cabinet after the formation of Government, He was then appointed Minister for Health and HIV/AIDS on 13/05/19 after a a minor cabinet reshuffle in the O'Neill-Abel Government.
