Human Resource Division

The Human Resource Division consists of:

  1. Personnel and Administration Section,  
  2. Payroll Section,
  3. Staff Development and Training Section,
  4. Clinic, and
  5. Post Office

The main task performed by the Division is to provide essential human resource services to Parliamentary Service employees, postal and health services.

Specific areas of responsibilities of the Division includes:-

  • Providing advice to Parliamentary Service employees on their entitlements, as well as terms and conditions of employment,
  • Providing and facilitating customer services to all Parliamentary Service employees by,
  • Processing of allowances, all types of leave, updating and maintaining employee records,
  • Payroll processing and salary advance processing,
  • Training and Staff Development,
  • Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Staff performance appraisals and career development,
  • Staff disciplinary and arbitration,
  • Postal services to the Parliamentary Service,
  • Clinical services, medical insurance policy monitoring and compliance, and
  • Administration of annual medical examinations.
