Primary Education: Completed primary education at Rongo Community School, 1970
Secondary Education: Completed high school education at Asaroka Lutheran High School, 1974, then to Keravat Secondary School, 1976
Tertiary Education: Completed tertiary education at University of Papua New Guinea, 1980

Achievements: Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Papua New Guinea in 1980.
Last Occupation Prior to Elections: Employed with the Eastern Highlands Provincial Government as a Research Officer, then Executive Officer to the Premier.
