Appointed Parliamentary Referral Committee on Communications- Chairman on 18/09/2007. Appointed Minister for Tourism, Arts & Culture on 05/08/2011 in the O'Neill-Namah cabinet. Re-elected to the 9th National Parliament for the Menyamya Open Electorate in the 2012 General Elections as a Rural Development Party candidate.
