Current: First elected to the 10th National Parliament for the Kikori Open seat in the 2017 General Elections as a member of the PNGN Party, currently affiliated with the PANGU Pati, Appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade on 20/12/20 under the Marape-Basil cabinet, 1st term in this Parliament.
Past: Appointed Minister for Community Development, Youth and Religion in the O'Neill-Abel Cabinet after the formation of Government from August 2017-May 2019. Appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs & International Trade in the Marape-Staven Government from 7/06/19-08/11/19. Served as Minister for Public Service following a Cabinet reshuffle on 08/11/19 to 19/12/20. A member of the People's National Congress Party at some point in time.
