Current: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament for the Henganofi Open seat in the 2017 General Elections as a member of the Peoples National Congress Party. Appointed Chairman of Constitutional Laws and Acts Committee, 2nd Term in this Parliament.
Past: First elected to the 9th National Parliament for the Henganofi Open seat in the 2012 General Elections as an Independent candidate. Appointed Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration following formation of O'Neill-Dion government, then as Minister for Police on 24/2/2014.

Primary Education: Completed Primary Education from the Rongo Community School (1968-1970)
Secondary Education: Completed Secondary Education from the Asaro Lutheran High School (1971-1974), Kerevat National High School
Tertiary Education: Completed Tertiary Education from the University of Papua New Guinea (1977-1980)
Achievements: Earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politicial Science from University of Papua New Guinea in 1981.
