Functions of the Committee
- The Committee shall be established at the commencement of each Parliament.
- The Committee shall consist of seven Members.
- The Committee has responsibility concerning appointments to offices (including officers as members of committees and commissions) and the creation of offices and other act or thing provided for or required by the Constitutional Laws and Acts of Parliament to be made or done in consultation with appropriate permanent parliamentary committee.
- The Committee has power to send for persons, papers and records, and to act during recess.
- The quorum for a meeting of the Committee is three.
