Current: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament as the Member for Nawae Open Electorate during the 2017 National General Elections as a Papua & Niugini Union Party candidate. Joined the United Labour Party after the formation of the Party in 2019. Re-appointed Chairman to the Culture & Tourism Parliamentary Committee following the formation of the Marape-Steven Government in June 2019, 2nd Term in this Parliament.
Past: First elected to the 6th National Parliament in the 1997 General Elections for the Nawae Open seat. Member of Emergency Committee-Deputy Chair, Public Accounts Committee, Public Works Committee from July 1997-March 1998. Administrative Services Referral Committee, Health and Family Welfare Referral Committee-Deputy Chair, Lands and Environment Referral Committee July 1997-July 1998. Appointed member of the Public Works Committee and Assistant Speaker from November 1999, Plans and Estimates Committee-Chair from April 2000 to December 2000 and Government Whip in December 2000. Appointed Chairman to Culture and Tourism Parliamentary Committee on the 29/09/2017 under the O'Neill-Abel Government till. Moved to People's Democratic Movement Party.
