Current: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament as the Member for Manus Open after the 2017 General Elections. He was elected as the Speaker of the 10th National Parliament on the 02/08/2017 following the declaration of Members of the 10th National Parliament, he is also the Chairman to Broadcasting of Parliamentary Proceedings, Legislation, National Parliament, Private Business and Standing Orders Parliamentary Committees, 2nd Term in this Parliament.
Past: First elected to the 8th National Parliament for the Manus Open Electorate in the 2007 General Elections as People's National Congress candidate. Elected and served as Deputy Leader of People's National Congress Party in the 8th National Parliament. Appointed as the Minister for Inter-Government Relations in the Somare-Temu cabinet on the 29/8/2007 till 2/8/2011. Appointed Minister for Fisheries on the 5/8/2011 in the O'Neill-Namah cabinet. Elected PNC Deputy Party Leader on 07/02/08, announced his resignation from PNC party on 22/06/2020.
