Past: First Elected to the 8th National Parliament for the Tambul-Nebliyer Open in the 2007 General Elections as an Independent candidate, then joined the National Alliance Party. Appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Finance and Treasury on the 29/08/2007, and member of the Parliamentary Referral Committee on Primary Resources till December 2010. Minister for Civil Aviation from December 2010 till 2/8/2011.Re-elected to the 9th National Parliament for the same seat in the 2012 General Election as a Triumph Heritage Empowerment party
