Current: Member of Parliament for Middle Fly Open, Deputy Chairman of Culture and Tourism Permanent Committee, Member of Emergency Permanent Committee, Member of Plans and Estimate Permanent Committee, Deputy Chairman of Administrative Services Referral Committee,

Past: First elected in to the 7th National Parliament in the 2002 General Elections for the Middle Fly Open seat as a Papua New Guinea Revival Party Candidate then joined the People's Action Party. Commissioned Minister for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology in the Somare/Marat cabinet on the 2/8/2003. Resigned as Government Minister on the 18/5/2004, then reinstated on the same day as Minister for Labour and Industrial Relations. Appointed Minister for State Assisting the Prime Minister on the 23/6/2006 (G123, 2006). Re-elected to the 8th National Parliament in the 2007 General Elections for the same seat as a United Resource Party candidate. Appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Environment and Conservation and member of Parliamentary Referral Committee on Lands and Environment in August 2007.

Achievements: A member of the Balimo Town Urban Council and business arm of the council from 1999 to 2002
